Global Integrity recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Rwanda Governance Advisory Council (RGAC) to assist with the design and execution of a Global Integrity Dialogue workshop in Kigali in May 2010 and other possible governance reform efforts.
Similar to our engagement with the Government of Guatemala on transparency reforms in that country, we’re transparently documenting our work with RGAC on the Global Integrity Commons wiki, where the public can access the actual MOU as well as future summaries and documentation of our work with RGAC in Rwanda. We anticipate a fascinating while simultaneously challenging workshop given the country’s upcoming elections and recent controversies over the closing of two weekly publications.
Many thanks to our friends at the Legatum Institute for helping to sponsor the May workshop.
