The opening of the 2010 Africa Awards for Entrepreneurship was just announced by the Legatum Institute. This contest, sponsored in conjunction with the Omydiar Network, will provide large cash awards– ranging from US$50,000 to US$100,000– to African businesses that show both a vision for social change and have a demonstrated impact in their communities.
