We’re thrilled to announce three new directors joining the Global Integrity Board of Directors effective immediately: Dr. Matt Andrews of Harvard University, Andrew Hoppin of New Amsterdam Ideas, and Raina Kumra of Juggernaut. All three bring amazing skill sets and experience to the board, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome them to the Global Integrity family.
For readers less familiar with their respective illustrious backgrounds, here’s a quick primer:
Matt Andrews is a leading scholar and practitioner on development and governance issues. Among other topics, he brings extensive experience and critical thinking around questions of governance indicators and the post-2015 development framework, two areas where Global Integrity’s research and policy teams will be tapping into his expertise.
Andrew Hoppin is the co-founder and CEO of technology firm New Amsterdam Ideas. Andrew is a leading practitioner and evangelist in the open source software community and served as the CIO of the New York State Senate from 2009 to 2011. Global Integrity’s technology team is excited to introduce Andrew to the maelstrom that is Indaba software deveopment.
Raina Kumra the CEO of Juggernaut, an agency focused on digital, design and disruption through behavioral and brand strategy. She was formerly co-director of innovation at the Broadcasting Board of Governors and the senior new media advisor in the U.S. Department of State under then-Secretary Hillary Clinton. A former digital advertising executive, Raina was recently featured on the cover of Fast Company as a leader of Generation Flux, representing the future of an adaptable career in business. We’ll be looking to Raina for advice and perspective as we continue pushing Indaba towards being a commercially viable enterprise product.
