We’re happy to announce the successful completion of our public Request for Proposals (RFP) process to build Indaba, our next-generation fieldwork platform. We are partnering with Croix Connect of Vienna, Virginia to build the new system.
We’re kicking off system development this week with some all-day sessions to sketch out the data model and use cases, and are generally excited to start getting down to brass tacks.

We’re hoping to begin using Indaba for much of our emerging sub-national and sector-focused work beginning this year, and Indaba will certainly be the engine behind the Global Integrity Report: 2010. We’ll also be experimenting with using Indaba for some partnership initiatives with friendly organizations (details to come…what a tease!) so watch this space.
